Fort Lee, Florida, did not have a unified arts community or venue until the Alliance for the Arts was formed in 1975 to foster the growth of local arts. Since then it has expanded into a visual and performing arts center on 10 acres that features an amphitheater, multiple galleries, year-round events, exhibitions, classes and productions.
One of the organization’s earliest events, the All Florida Exhibition, is now an annual tradition that is stronger than ever 37 years after its inception.

Best in Show winner, 2022.As the name suggests, the statewide competition—and one of the region’s most anticipated events of the year—invites artists working in a wide variety of media to submit up to three pieces for consideration. Out of roughly 500 entries, only 50 or so are juried into the exhibition which will showcase an eclectic mix of sculpture, painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor and mixed media), photography, prints and drawings across a broad range of price points.
The annual All Florida Exhibition features the work of roughly 50 artists working in a variety of media from all over the state.“This show aims to show the range and strength of contemporary artists working in Florida,” says gallery manager, Emily Radomski. “We do this by highlighting art in all mediums.”
Cash prizes will be awarded for best in show, and second and third place.
This year’s juror is Grace Gdaniec, a south Florida-based artist, curator and arts programmer for whom art has been a significant part of her life in many capacities.

This year’s All Florida Exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on March 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. that is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on view through April 1. —
