Through July 5 the Met Breuer will present Gerhard Richter: Painting After All, which is the first United States exhibition of Richter’s art in nearly 20 years. The show, spanning the artist’s six-decade career, includes more than 100 works in a variety of media. Most evident is the artist’s investigation into the formal and conceptual possibilities of painting that reflect both abstract and figurative compositions. —
