Matriarch began to remind me of a wise woman ...and like my grandmother, the more I worked on her.......the way the colors of the wood objects and the way the shapes moved together I found very appealing.

Pope Joan is my version of the only female pope - real or ...a myth. The shapes of the found pieces led me to an image of a religious figure,and so I let it lead me to this version! The inner treasure is very feminine.....
