Empire Variation was created while I looked out the window of a NYC hotel. The original photo of a cold and rainy night was very straightforward. I manipulated the size and orientation of the photograph also texturized and warmed the color. The final print is on paper bonded to aluminum, 30” x 20” without matte, frame or glass, so it “floats” on the wall. I have successfully used this process to print a number of  my images this summer.
