Kim Seyesnem Obrzut has spent more than four decades creating bronze sculptures that honor the spiritual traditions, cultural values and enduring beauty of Hopi life. Recognized as the first Hopi woman to work in bronze, Obrzut has built a distinguished career defined by graceful forms, symbolic storytelling, and a profound connection to nature and humanity.

Raised within the traditions of the Hopi people, Obrzut drew early inspiration from her grandfather, a respected Kachina carver whose teachings instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, spirituality and cultural preservation. Her signature faceless figures encourage viewers to look beyond outward identity and recognize the shared human spirit that connects every generation and culture.
