Leonard Mizerek sells another landscape of coastal Florida
Painter Leonard Mizerek has a strong presence at fine art galleries up and down the Eastern Seaboard, his seascapes, harbor and sailboat scenes resonating with collectors from Massachusetts to Florida. As one of the largest pieces in his January show at J.M. Stringer Gallery in Vero Beach, Floridia, Mizerek’s Voluminous Clouds, received a lot of attention. It ultimately sold, along with another sizable work, to a collector who was looking to fill a large space with a calming, peaceful seascape that reflected the local surroundings. The show, featuring a variety of Mizerek’s seascapes and shorelines scenes, as well as cafe and cityscape imagery, was an overall success, with 18 paintings and commissions sold.+++

Joseph Zbukvic painting sells before his show opens at Principle Gallery
Joseph Zbukvic sent his watercolor Magical Venice to Principle Gallery in Charleston to be featured in his fall solo exhibition Hidden Gems, which was covered in the November 2025 issue of American Art Collector. “This piece was one of the first sales, before the show was even hung,” shares assistant gallery director Carson Reeder. “The client allowed us to keep the piece on display for the duration of the exhibition. It was a piece that drew steady interest from multiple collectors…It captures the broader movement and atmosphere of Venice in its entirety.
