LA Art Show | 1/7-1/11 | Los Angeles, CA

A Dazzling Display

LA Art Show returns to Los Angeles in January with an abundance of contemporary art from around the world.

Of the many contemporary art fairs that pop up in the nation’s biggest metropolises, the LA Art Showis one of the most anticipated of the year—and for good reason. I have had the opportunity to attend twice, and the energy and passion for art is palpable. The artwork is plentiful and top notch. After a respectfully subdued event on the heels of the devasting wild fires last year, the 2026 show, taking place January 7 through 11, will no doubt return with unmatched vitality.

Featuring a diverse array of contemporary art, the LA Art Show returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“Although it was an unimaginable time for the city, we are thankful that so many people came out for last year’s remarkable 30th anniversary edition, during which we got to support the artistic community while also paying homage to the resilience of Los Angeles,” says show producer and director Kassandra Voyagis. “We are thrilled to once again unite galleries, artists and enthusiasts from across the globe to participate in and celebrate the city’s rich cultural legacy.”

More than 100 exhibitors from around the world will fill the Los Angeles Convention Center for three days with a diverse variety of art, curated exhibitions and installations, artist talks and demos; and entertainment. Don’t miss the opening night VIP party for an array of complimentary tapas from local food vendors, drinks, music and a chance to get a sneak peek at the art before the show opens to the public the following day.

A few of the 2026 highlights include the Latin American Pavilion, which Marisa Caichiolo oversees (she also curates the show’s educational platform, DIVERSEartLA), which will showcase emerging artists from other regions of the American continent.

Some exciting new additions to this year’s show is Palm Beach gallery Provident Fine Art, which will be featuring abstract paintings by movie star Sylvester Stallone; the first exhibitor from Ireland, Dublin-based Oliver Sears Gallery, along with several new U.K. exhibitors including John Martin Gallery out of London, Quantum Contemporary Art and Pontone Gallery.

LA Art Show 2026 continues its annual collaborations with esteemed galleries that include Arcadia Contemporary out of New York City; and Rehs Galleries, another New York-based exhibitor specializing in historic and contemporary art that has participated in the LA Art Show since its inception in 1994. Other partnering galleries include Los Angeles’ Fabrik Projects, U.K.-based Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery, Coral Contemporary Gallery from Miami, and Paris gallery K+Y Contemporary Art.

Voyagis adds, “As one of the few remaining privately owned and operated art fairs of such scale, the LA Art Showadds a layer of authenticity to the city’s artistic landscape, embodying the vibrant and multicultural spirit of our host community…In contrast to more exclusive fairs, we ensure a more accessible and diverse selection of art, catering to a wide audience from experienced collectors to emerging art aficionados, all at varying price points.”
