Rehs Galleries celebrates a Jon Burns sale
“At an art show in Winnetka, an overjoyed collector stumbled upon Jon Burns’ painting that was on display and was immediately enchanted,” says gallerist Howard Rehs, referring to the piece Let’s Celebrate. “The vibrant colors, the playful energy, and the cupcake’s undeniable charm sparked a level of excitement we always hope for. Without a second thought, she declared, ‘I need this in my life!’ And purchased it. The most enjoyable part of being an art dealer is when a work of art finds a home with someone who really appreciates it. Let’s Celebrate is not just a stunning example of Burns’ talent but a testament to art’s power to uplift, inspire and bring joy.”

Another work by Paul Schulenburg sells out of Addison Art Gallery
Friends of one of Paul Schulenburg’s many collectors stopped by the Addison Art Gallery on Cape Cod in Orleans, Massachusetts, and, while impressed by many of the artwork on display, fell in love with Schulenburg’s A Weathered Vessel. “Within 24 hours this new work was on its way to Pennsylvania,” says gallery owner and director Helen Addison. Schulenburg is an internationally collected artist whose work has shown in the Hopper House Museum, the Cape Cod Museum of Art and Cahoon Museum of American Art. He is juried member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America, and  was commissioned by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to create a portrait of museum trustee Eliot Forbes. —
