The Latest Trends

Artexpo New York celebrates its 47th year by featuring hundreds of exhibitors and exciting programming

Known for its innovative, contemporary presentations from around the world, Artexpo New Yorkreturns for another year of “showcasing the very best the fine art world has to offer,” says managing director Linda Mariano. The show is once again hosted at the large convention space known as Pier 36 located on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Attendees at Artexpo New York in 2023 explore fascinating contemporary art works.

“The goal is to bring more than 200 of the world’s leading publishers, galleries and collectors face to face with hundreds of established and emerging artists from across the globe,” continues Mariano. “More than 15,000 avid art enthusiasts attend each year to enjoy exciting and original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs and glass works…”

Mariano also notes that the event is a platform for unrepresented artists, and running alongside the main trade show is the presentation titled [SOLO], “highlighting established, independent and emerging artists who want to be seen and showcase their work among a captive industry audience,” explains Mariano. “Artexpo New Yorkalso features its annual lineup of interactive and educational programming, including Art Labs, Spotlight Program and the Art Talks Program, as a way to establish a forum for discussion on the topics, trends and issues facing today’s art world.”

While the detailed schedule of programming and a comprehensive list of exhibitors is announced just prior to the event, Mariano offers a sneak peek of what attendees can expect to see this year. This includes K-Art Projects from Miami, Florida; Sammoun Fine Art Gallery, Quebec, Canada; Renssen Art hailing from Amsterdam, Netherlands; Art Love Gallery in New York; ADC Fine Art from Cincinnati, Ohio; and Agora Fine Art also in New York, among many others.

New to this year’s programming is a collection of paintings created by resident apes at the Save The Chimps sanctuary, in collaboration with a “very special celebrity,” says Mariano, whose identity will only be revealed during the show.
