Humanity’s relationship to the environment is explored in an upcoming exhibition at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Fault Lines: Art and the Environment is an immersive, multimedia exhibition including outdoor sculpture installations located in the Ann and Jim Goodnight Museum Park. Fourteen contemporary artists produce artwork in video, photography, sculpture and mixed media that center on present-day concerns regarding the environment. The exhibition runs April 2 to July 17.

Nightview
Anders Wahlstedt Fine Art in New York City hosts a solo exhibition titled Nightview, featuring the paintings of Liv Mette Larsen, born in Norway and currently living in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The show includes 19 paintings in egg tempera on linen that look like simple, crisp geometric skylines. Selected works on paper by the artist will be on view in the gallery’s back room. The show runs through April 2.

Best Sculpture Award at Red Dot
Sculptor Jesse Nusbaum recently won the 2021 Best Sculpture Award at Red Dot Miami for his newest sculpture The Black Panther. Nusbaum was one of four sculptors to display their work at Zenith Art & Fashion’s booth, and as a result of Nusbaum’s appearance at Red Dot, Zenith has already secured several buyers for his sculptures. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in the New York tri-state area.

Prints from the Brandywine Workshop and Archives: Creative Communities marks the first presentation of a group of works acquired by the Harvard Art Museums from the Brandywine Workshop in 2018. The exhibition includes prints and proofs by around 30 artists, including Betye Saar, Sam Gilliam, Hank Willis Thomas, Andrea Chung, Louis Delsarte and Allan Edmunds, and will be on view in the Special Exhibitions Gallery through July 31. —
