Throughout our 15 years as a magazine, we have been fortunate to show our support for art fairs around the nation through sponsorships and editorial. We have featured many of them in the pages of this magazine, highlighting the galleries and lectures that will be showcased at each, as well as some of the artwork available to purchase. The events happen in places such as Los Angeles, New York City, the Hamptons, Aspen, Miami, San Francisco and Dallas and serve as connecting points for dealers and collectors.
These fairs—including LA Art Show, Market Art & Design, Art Market San Francisco, Seattle Art Fair, Boston International Fine Art Show and Intersect Chicago (formerly SOFA), to name a few—give galleries the opportunity to present mini exhibitions of the artwork they have in their brick-and-mortar locations, allowing them to find new buyers and grow their base to a national, and sometimes international level. Let’s have a look back at some of the images of past events and move forward as they begin to return to live formats with safety protocols in place. And, as always, continue to check in to find out the status of shows as they could change. —
