Collector's Focus: Small Works & Miniatures

November 2027 Issue Special Feature

The 18th annual Collector’s Focus: Small Works & Miniatures returns just in time for the holiday season, when art collectors are looking for gifts for friends, family or maybe themselves. But small works have a lot more to offer than simply their gift-ability. Not only are smaller-scale works often more affordable, they are also easier to transport back home when purchased on a trip. They are also a wonderful starting point for new collectors as they begin to build their collection as well as for seasoned collectors who are running out of wall space! Creating small-scale paintings and sculpture requires a skill set all its own and, artists who don’t typically work small, often create unique pieces that appeal to their repeat collectors. If you create small format paintings or sculpture, or own a gallery that carries them, don’t miss this opportunity to share your mini-masterpieces with collectors nationwide.
