Collector's Focus: Planes, Trains & Automobiles

October 2027 Issue Special Feature

The October issue of American Art Collector marks the return of our special section dedicated to automotive art. People have been fascinated with modes of transportation—historic, modern and futuristic—since the horse and buggy days. The large numbers of artists who incorporate vehicles in their work, and the avid collectors of this subject matter, are testament to that. As the name suggests our Collector’s Focus: Planes, Trains & Automobiles encompasses far more than cars. If you paint or sculpt steam locomotives or Volkswagen Beetles, Ferraris, bi-planes or rockets and, why not, even UFOs, or carry artwork of this nature in your gallery or museum, this is the issue for you. This special section will point collectors from around the country to the artists who create automotive art and the galleries that have this type of artwork available for purchase.
