A major fine art and design show will make its debut at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, Utah, featuring 50-plus galleries and more than 100 independent artists and studios from Utah and around the world. Anticipating upwards of 8,000 attendees, the brand new Salt Lake Art Show was created by the father-daughter team at Peaks Art Fairs. (They also recently created the Reno Tahoe International Art Show,which has seen significant success in the past few years).

“Salt Lake has an incredibly strong and engaged arts community,” says Peaks COO Briana Dolan. “While the fair is dedicated to supporting the success of its diverse exhibitors from around the world, it is equally committed to celebrating Utah artists at every stage of their careers and across all mediums.”

Attendees will be able to explore everything from paintings and sculpture to bespoke furniture during the diverse new event. Exhibitors include George Billis Gallery, Rothschild Gallery, ADC Gallery, Palette Contemporary, Blue Heron Gallery and so many others.
Highlights at the Salt Lake show include sculptors participating in a major indoor Sculpture Walk; a First Nations & Indigenous Peoples Pavilion; as well as Ageless Masterworks, a presentation showcasing original works from 6th-century BC through the impressionist period, and much more.

“The Salt Lake Art Show was conceived to be elegant, engaging and welcoming while fully embracing the depth of the regional arts community,” says Kevin O’Keefe, CEO of Peaks Art Fairs. “Our goal is to create a place where collectors, designers and the public can experience the full breadth of Utah’s cultural landscape alongside outstanding artists and galleries from around the world.”

The Salt Lake Art Show opens with a VIP preview on Thursday, May 14, from 6 to 10 p.m. The show then opens to the public on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at www.saltlakeshow.com. —
