The nonprofit Alliance for the Arts received roughly 700 entries for the 38th annual All Florida Exhibition, which will take place from March 1 through March 30 at the nonprofit’s 10-acre campus in Fort Myers.
From those entries, this year’s juror Laura Guerrero, programs coordinator at Oolite Arts in Miami, will select approximately 60 pieces to display in the gallery. Guerrero will also be responsible for presenting cash awards for Best in Show during the opening reception on March 1, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Anders Fernbach’s White Shirt, featured here, won first prize in the 2023 All Florida Exhibition.
As the name suggests, the statewide competition—and one of the region’s most anticipated events of the year—invites artists working in a wide variety of media to submit up to three pieces for consideration. The exhibition will showcase an eclectic mix of sculpture, painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor and mixed media), photography, prints and drawings across a broad range of price points.

The event has grown exponentially in recent years, nearly doubling its submissions in the past few years.
“I think the Florida art scene is special because we have such a diversity of artists and work,” says Alliance for the Arts gallery manager Emily Radomski. “People come from all over the country and the world to settle in Florida, and the art they make is as diverse as they are.”
