“Hamptonites are eager to resume participation this July at local cultural events, and I expect them to rush the aisles and displays with more vim and vigor than ever,” says Rick Friedman, ShowHamptons executive director. “With thousands of new homeowners on the East End, this is an ideal, fast and convenient opportunity for new residents to fill their large walls of their pricey estates, while making their ‘artistic statements.’”

Among the exhibitors showcasing contemporary art at the fair is T.H. Brennen Galleries, bringing works by Serge Marshennikov, Zvonimir Mihanovic and the late Daniel Greene. “Highly regarded as a portrait artist, his subjects include leaders of government, banking, education and industry,” the gallery notes of Greene. “A few of the early works include Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt…and William Randolph Hearst.” The gallery adds that “Marshennikov’s paintings are notorious for bringing the viewer into the world in which the artist sees beauty. The artist’s ability to capture fleshtones, fabrics and hair with his oils make the painter one of the most recognized contemporary figurative realists in the world.”
