Jon Ching, Domyces, oil on wood, 24 x 24"

Realm
Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, California, hosts an exhibition featuring Hawaii-born artist Jon Ching’s surreal wildlife art. Currently living in Los Angeles, Ching’s 10 new oil paintings in the show are “inspired by the magnificence of nature.” He says, “These paintings continue an ongoing series where the divine is made manifest in the natural and supernatural world. New life forms emerge to form deities of varying natural domains, keeping in balance their piece of the interconnected web.” Realm will be on view from August 14 to September 18.
